Aspiring Dentists Event Returns to Lincoln County Hospital

In July, the Talent Academy’s Aspiring Dentists event returned to Lincoln County Hospital. Supported by the Lincolnshire Local Dental Committee, the event welcomed enthusiastic young people aged 15–19 from across Lincolnshire.
Participants explored the essential skills and knowledge required for a career focused on relieving pain, restoring confidence, and using science to prevent, diagnose, and treat oral health issues.
Session highlights included:
- Applying for Dentistry
- Alginate Impressions & Scanning
- Composite Fillings
- Special Care Dentistry
- Orthodontics
This evening event offered hands-on insight into the profession, inspiring the next generation of dentists.
