Aspiring Medics – Lincoln – April 2025
Posted on 15th April 2025

April saw the return of the Lincolnshire Talent Academy’s flagship “Aspiring Medics” event at Lincoln County Hospital. Held at both Boston and Lincoln, Year 12 students aged 16-17 from across Lincolnshire were successful in securing a place. Under the supervision of experts, students participated in clinical skills sessions and attended informative presentations focusing on the essential skills and knowledge required for a career in medicine.
A big “Thank you” goes to the Lincoln Undergraduate Medical Education Department for supporting this event. Volunteering their time to help students connect with medical professionals, sharing their experiences, and guiding those aspiring to enter the medical field.
“I signed up to this event in order to gain a better understanding of medicine as a career path. Participating in this event has made me more informed about medicine as a career, particularly in terms of the ethics.” – anonymous attendee quotes
