Aspiring Pharmacy: Inspiring the Next Generation of Lincolnshire’s Pharmacy Workforce

In February, the Talent Academy hosted its first “Aspiring Pharmacy” event at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.
Working in partnership with pharmacy teams at Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust, and United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, young people aged 16–19 from across Lincolnshire had the opportunity to meet members of the pharmacy workforce working in a range of roles, including Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Foundation Trainee Pharmacists.
Under the guidance of experienced professionals, attendees took part in interactive workshops and insightful discussions, exploring the essential skills needed for a career that makes a lasting impact on people’s lives by treating illness and promoting healthy lifestyles.
