Lincolnshire NHS Opens Applications for Student Nurse Associate Apprenticeships

Posted on 17th November 2025

Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG) has announced the launch of its latest Student Nurse Associate Apprenticeship cohort, offering a unique opportunity for individuals to earn while they learn and begin a rewarding career in nursing.

The apprenticeship is a 24-month programme that combines academic study with practical experience in both hospital and community settings across Lincolnshire. Successful candidates will work towards a Level 5 foundation degree in partnership with the University of Lincoln and, upon completion, progress to a Registered Nurse Associate role and join the Nursing and Midwifery Council register.

Interview days for shortlisted candidates will take place on 10 and 11 December 2025.

Anne Owen, Higher Apprentice Facilitator at LCHG, said:
“This apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about healthcare to take their first step into nursing. It allows individuals to earn while they learn, gain invaluable experience across different care settings, and build a career that truly makes a difference in their local community.”

Applications are now open for interview on the 10th and 11th December.
