Posted on 8th October 2025
Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group is holding a drop-in recruitment event at Boston Pilgrim Hospital on Tuesday, 21st October 2025, to recruit experienced Healthcare Support Workers for its Acute Cardiac Unit and Urgent and Emergency Care teams.
The event will run from 9:30am to 3:00pm at the Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) Centre. Advice and interviews will be offered on the day, offering a fast-track route into NHS employment for qualified candidates.
Successful applicants will join the Trust on 15th December 2025, with full training and induction provided, including the nationally recognised Care Certificate. Both part-time and full-time roles are available.
This recruitment drive forms part of the Trust’s wider “Care Where You Live” campaign, which focuses on the value of hiring local talent to improve community-based care and the long-term career opportunities available within the NHS.
Maxine Skinner, Lead Nurse, Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, said: “Healthcare Support Workers play such an important role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to our patients every single day.”
“This recruitment event is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about helping others to find out more about what it’s like to work within our hospital and be interviewed for a role. We’re looking for people who want to make a real difference, who have some previous experience working in Health or Care.”
