It’s official, the Health & Care Careers Event is back for its 6th Year, the Lincolnshire Talent Academy would like to invite you and your school/college to come along!
This FREE event will provide an insight into the diverse range of occupations in Health & Care across Lincolnshire, not just Nursing and Medicine but Engineering, Catering, IT, Corporate Services and lots more, all under one roof!
The Engine Shed – The Market Place, ‘Meet Our Employers’
The Market Place will consist of the perfect combination of interactive activities and information that will inspire you to explore a profession within the health and care sector. The Engine Shed – The Market Place, ‘Meet Our Employers’
With over 50 different career stations, you can:
- View the huge variety of skills and career opportunities.
- Speak directly to working professional staff about real jobs
- Access invaluable careers advice
- Find out about education, training and apprenticeships
- Employers will be advertising jobs, work experience and apprenticeship opportunities
- ‘Have a Go’ at different job-related skills and discover new talents and interests.
Inspirational Practical Workshops
Only open to students from Year 10 – 13
The workshops cover a range of professions and will be held in the University’s clinical simulation suites. Gives you the opportunity to really get stuck in and have a go whilst undertaking interactive activities within a simulated clinical setting?!
The workshops will consist of the following areas:
- Medical
- Nursing
- Allied Health Professions (i.e. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech & Language Therapy)
- Social Care
Lincoln University Campus Tours – Take a look around!
These tours are conducted by student ambassadors currently studying at the University, so they can really give you an insight into the life of a student as well as the facilities and services Lincoln offers. Tours take 45 mins.

School / College Students – If you’re already attending with your school/college you won’t need to book!!

If you are unable to provide student names at this point, we can provisionally secure your places for a period of 3 weeks. If the information is not received after this point, your provisional booking will expire and places will be available to other schools/colleges.
