Your NHS apprenticeship delivery will be tailored to your specific work role and individual learning requirements. You may undertake some of the following as part of your apprenticeship for your off-the-job learning time:
Workshops: Engage in half-day sessions at your workplace, allowing you to deepen your understanding of core learning topics while benefiting from peer support and sharing of best practice.
1:1 Support Tutorials: Receive personalised sessions that focus on your needs; including planning, skills observation, and competency development within your work environment.
E-Learning Activities: Take advantage of e-learning opportunities to boost your knowledge and skills, while also creating your portfolio of evidence.
Day Release or Block Learning at College or University: Some apprenticeship programmes may include day release or block learning sessions at a college or university or remotely, where you can further develop the knowledge and skills necessary for your sector.
Shadowing: You may have the opportunity to shadow other colleagues within your own team, or even shadow a different team within the NHS.
Self-Study: Receive off-the-job learning time to study in a way that suits you.
By participating in these activities, you’ll be well-equipped to succeed in your apprenticeship and advance your career.
