Explore the careers that deliver skilled care before, during and after a patient’s surgical procedure.
Open to young people aged 15–19, this event explores how theatre teams deliver safe, compassionate, patient‑centred care in a high‑pressure but rewarding team environment, through interactive workshops and expert talks.
It’s a great opportunity for anyone interested in careers such as a Doctor, Nurse, Nurse Associate, Operating Department Practitioner, or Theatre Support Worker.

What to expect:
- Meet the ULTH Theatre Team – ask questions and gain insight from professionals working in a range of theatre roles.
- Talks – learn about the different roles that make up the theatre team and how strong teamwork is central to keeping patients safe and well cared for.
- Clinical skills workshops – develop practical skills essential for a theatre career, including PPE donning and doffing, surgical instruments and their uses, and airway management.

Criteria
- Must be living in or educated in Lincolnshire
- Be 15-19 years of age on the day of the event
