Gain Real Healthcare Experience Through a Health T Level Placement
Are you a student considering a career in healthcare? A parent or guardian supporting your child’s next steps? Or an education provider looking for high-quality industry placements?
Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group is proud to support Health T Level placements, giving students aged 16 to 19 the opportunity to gain valuable experience in real healthcare settings while working towards their qualification.
T Levels are a two-year qualification that combines classroom learning with practical workplace experience. As part of their course, students complete a minimum of 315 hours of industry placement, helping them develop the skills, confidence and understanding needed for a future career in health and care.
What Is a Health T Level Placement?
A Health T Level placement allows students to apply what they learn in the classroom to real-life healthcare environments.
During their placement, students may have opportunities to:
- Experience different healthcare settings across Lincolnshire.
- Work alongside experienced NHS professionals.
- Develop communication, teamwork and professional skills.
- Build confidence in a workplace environment.
- Learn about the wide range of careers available within the NHS.
- Understand how healthcare teams work together to support patients and communities.
Placements are designed to provide meaningful learning experiences while ensuring students are supported throughout their journey.
