Nurse Associate Apprentice
An exciting opportunity is available for the right candidate to join LCHS NHS Trust as a Nurse Associate Apprentice. This is a development post and the right candidate will need to demonstrate that they are highly motivated, problem solvers, demonstrate good time management, and a willingness to succeed using the LCHS values. The apprenticeship is a mixture of academic study, clinical placements and implementing those skills whilst working the rest of the time in your set team. The academic element of the apprenticeship will be provided by the University of Lincoln over a 2-year period. It consists of 5 7-week placements with one day a week tuition in person outside of these times in addition to supplementary online lectures.

Main duties of the job
The Nursing and Midwifery Council stipulate selection, admission and progression requirements for entry to approved nursing associate programmes. There is an expectation from LCHS NHS Trust applicants as a minimum have already attained a L3 Healthcare related qualification or equivalent (2 A levels), Care Certificate and English and Maths.
You will be a paid employee on a standard AFC contract with an addition of ANNEX 21 T&C's at one of the following Integrated Community Teams (ICT) across Lincolnshire:
Bourne,South Lincs Rural/Long Sutton,Sleaford,Skegness,Louth,Horncastle,Boston,Spalding/Market Deeping,Grantham
Successful applicants will have the ability to join the NMC upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship to become a Registered Nurse Associate.
Interviews will be conducted by LCHS and the University of Lincoln on the 18th and 21st June between 09:00am 17:00pm.
