An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a HR Apprentice to join our friendly HR team at LPFT. The Trust employ over 2000 staff in a variety of roles in over 50 sites in Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. You will be supported to develop key skills to provide efficient, effective and timely HR service within the NHS. You will be provided with the opportunity to work towards an NVQ Level 3 in HR Support, as well as gaining extensive experience and understanding of a HR function. You will spend time with a number of staff to understand how HR in the NHS supports our front line clinical services to deliver exceptional care.

You will be trained to perform variety of administrative tasks including quality data input, answering telephone and email enquiries, arranging interviews, sending out interview packs and generally supporting the HR and Recruitment teams to recruit and retain staff.

To be considered for this role you must be computer literate with good keyboard skills and have the ability to work under pressure. You will be required to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in person, over the telephone and by electronic communication. You will be passionate about pursuing a career within a HR team while you will be given development opportunity across various HR functions includes end to end recruitment, delivery of HR advice, gain an understanding of how HR supports front line clinical services, as well as, liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and a pleasant telephone manner are also important.

Candidates interested in this role will be highly motivated, organised, reliable, and able to work as part of a team and able to use own initiative while developing to work independently.

We offer 24 hour services within our Inpatient, Crisis and SPA teams, if you are successfully appointed to posts in these areas or others that might have specified, you will be required to work unsociable hours and shift patterns.

Preference will be given to NHS colleagues who are currently 'at risk' and meet the minimum criteria of the Job Description & Person Specification.
