Maggie has worked as a medical secretary for 12 years and enrolled on the Advanced Apprenticeship In Business Administration (Medical) as she felt it “sounded interesting through increased skill and knowledge base and gain confidence.” As the programme incorporates the AMSPAR qualification it will support a comprehensive understanding of terminology and anatomical vocabulary used within Maggie’s medical secretary role. When discussing what advice she would give others considering the programme she said “give it a go. You don’t know what you can achieve till you try it.
